SPR产品发布：SPR KnowledgePLAN®4.3版
2009年7月15日，美国软件生产力研究所（SPR）正式发布软件项目估算工具SPR KnowledgePLAN® 的最新版本——SPR KnowledgePLAN® 4.3版，它包含一个新的项目数据智能数据库，拥有市场上大规模的已完成的项目数据；KnowledgePLAN帮助软件项目经理创建详细的，自底向上的估计和项目计划，并通过给定的大量已知的（或假设的）参数提取预测性/可分析的生产率数据，估算出项目的工作量、成本、资源、进度、缺陷等。
在SPR KnowledgePLAN® 4一系列产品线中，4.3版基于其改善的功能和项目数据内容进行新的发布，具体包含以下特征：
· 新的SPR智能数据库（截止2009年第一季度前，共14,531个项目数据）
· 新的工作任务分解模板和域
· 与Microsoft® Vista, Microsoft® Office Project Professional和最新版的SAP Business Objects Crystal Reports水晶报表完全兼容
SPR KnowledgePLAN® 4.3版中新的默认数据库（Knowledge Base）包含去年到今年这段时间内，SPR及其客户收集的及调校过的真实项目数据。
SPR KnowledgePLAN®提供了目前主流的估计方法，如IFPUG 功能点(V4.2版)、SPR的功能点(特征点)、代码规模(KLOC)、COSMIC 功能点、Mark II 功能点、NESMA功能点、对象点等估计方法，适用于统一过程模型(UP)、迭代模型和瀑布模型等生命周期模型，对信息系统、实时嵌入式系统都有成功的应用。它还对美军标DOD-STD-2167A (GJB2786-96)提供有效的支持，并有大量的数据和项目实例可供参考
