SPR Announces release of SPR KnowledgePLAN® version 4.3

Software Productivity Research, LLC (SPR), today announces the latest release of its flagship software project estimation product SPR KnowledgePLAN®. Based upon the most extensive knowledge base of completed project data available in the market today, KnowledgePLAN enables software project managers to create detailed, bottom-up estimates and project plans. KnowledgePLAN is the only product of its type available with estimation algorithms based wholly upon the International Function Point Users Group (IFPUG) Function Point Analysis Methodology, the industry-standard software sizing metric in use worldwide.
SPR KnowledgePLAN version 4.3 is a feature and content-based release in the KnowledgePLAN 4 estimation product line. It includes a number of new artifacts:
· New Knowledge Base reflecting projects collected through Q1 2009 - now includes 14,531 projects
· New WBS templates and associated domains
· Full compatibility with Microsoft® Vista, Microsoft® Office Project Professional and the latest version of SAP Business Objects Crystal Reports
The new default Knowledge Base supplied with KnowledgePLAN version 4.3 contains the calibrated results of real project data collected by SPR and its clients during the past year.
Version 4.3 includes an extract of over 250 of the languages from the latest version (February 2006) of the SPR Programming Languages Table.
